Ending Dejah Thoris week is this amazing piece by the awesome Meghan Hetrick. Note the delicate color transitions across her skin. So beautiful.

She is mostly known for her work within the sketch card industry, with professional clients including Upper Deck, Rittenhouse Archives, Bad Axe Studios, Breygent Marketing, Perna Studios, and Versicolor Productions.

Megahn can be found all over the Internet. She has a fan page on Facebook, as well as a Deviant Art account and a keen blog for your reading enjoyment.
During Dejah Thoris week, I’ve been presenting work by amazing artists, women offering their interpretation of the title character of A Princess of Mars. Please support them by visiting their web sites and buying their awesome stuff. They deserve it.

Some pretty good artwork across this past week. I was already familiar with Katie Cook, but its nice to be introduced to other artists. Very interesting take on DejaH, from all of them. There’s just one thing….one small tiny criticism: Dejah Thoris is a RED martian. Not terran pink or tan with some reddish/dark pink overtones……she’s RED.
(sorry…..just had to rant…..’cause she’s red, you see)
